Each piece is hand stamped and oxidized (by yours truly, of course). *Oxidizing is pretty much a natural process, I just speed it up. It would happen anyways after many, many years.* I oxidize each piece with Liver of Sulfur (a chemical agent that speeds the oxidization process), unlike many other sellers who use Sharpies. Oxidizing using Liver of Sulfur creates a more natural look, since the color is more of a deep gray than black, which is what would happen with a Sharpie. I take a lot of time on each piece: drilling, stamping, oxidizing, and polishing. All metal components are sterling silver. I create each piece with the intent of it being highly wearable for everyday-simple, but lovely. Here's what I've got in my shop so far:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwnwMf4IF2qiTvX-vzF26G09eXF4Gdceuj2cWN8KXD9wWpMGuvTZeGUF2JvwzMFhVEWUjNQWyvH59GXKuAgn797lETHQ6qeOvmYz6ieK48-QxjABplg_L122UlrYBKu3qb6cHVCZtjgmE/s1600/refresh+logo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="277" r6="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwnwMf4IF2qiTvX-vzF26G09eXF4Gdceuj2cWN8KXD9wWpMGuvTZeGUF2JvwzMFhVEWUjNQWyvH59GXKuAgn797lETHQ6qeOvmYz6ieK48-QxjABplg_L122UlrYBKu3qb6cHVCZtjgmE/s400/refresh+logo.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>Here's a quick, adorable belt that probably cost us a whopping 50 cents altogether.<br />
Wanna make one? Here's how.... </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Supplies</div><ul><li>Wide satin ribbon, enough to go around your waist and hit wherever you should choose </li>
<li>Synthetic organza or chiffon</li>
<li>Small "seed" beads</li>
<li>Needle </li>
<li>Thread</li>
</ul><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Step 1. Cut out three circles from your chiffon/organza of similar size. It doesn't really matter if it's perfect<br />
.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHDf8saMZxr_9YiIiJoTI0GulL2h1M2U-aUfuu6x1cmBN1ukOxKYbDsyjOxVc3MGJL89t26RiZHoEY-EnvdGlP2TYkEHS3PQyaIejysC5jqH93tu4Yz4Pcu5XiAcVin3JpZDxzfnYZRo4/s1600/IMG_0161.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHDf8saMZxr_9YiIiJoTI0GulL2h1M2U-aUfuu6x1cmBN1ukOxKYbDsyjOxVc3MGJL89t26RiZHoEY-EnvdGlP2TYkEHS3PQyaIejysC5jqH93tu4Yz4Pcu5XiAcVin3JpZDxzfnYZRo4/s400/IMG_0161.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Step 2. Stack them and pull and knotted thread through them so that they hang together.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDBxpamxB5MLgusjKVxLwgeKBrJvo5wrZsyEArK2r-KaFgY6GMk3rE9ovxXK8IYtqDwJvOQdvgmiuEc-Gd6xkhi3fS0iQMmtEh8oFWDbecBoW5ZHxzq_hHpjuYwxeyoR_IFXpoL374Hns/s1600/IMG_0162.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDBxpamxB5MLgusjKVxLwgeKBrJvo5wrZsyEArK2r-KaFgY6GMk3rE9ovxXK8IYtqDwJvOQdvgmiuEc-Gd6xkhi3fS0iQMmtEh8oFWDbecBoW5ZHxzq_hHpjuYwxeyoR_IFXpoL374Hns/s400/IMG_0162.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
Step 3. Turn your stove on a lower heat and sortof twirl the petals around until they warp into a pleasing, flower-like shape. We won't lie, it's a bit hard at first. You might have to try several times. Don't get it too close, just be patient.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBnGMOj4aMP7G2BjRwNGGGyQWNNOyU-qw5ySqo8j4eQZXntoFg9wxlfrv2Y_VUBpJHvnVu1mfUSQSattoqxCjgvf4wIfiM6w_4FXjWBTB37ZkMbdUeaCqxIW0ndQOQKMOV8t7U13YzvQE/s1600/IMG_0163.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBnGMOj4aMP7G2BjRwNGGGyQWNNOyU-qw5ySqo8j4eQZXntoFg9wxlfrv2Y_VUBpJHvnVu1mfUSQSattoqxCjgvf4wIfiM6w_4FXjWBTB37ZkMbdUeaCqxIW0ndQOQKMOV8t7U13YzvQE/s400/IMG_0163.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">4. It should look something like this now. Attach it at the end of a piece of ribbon long enough to fit around your waist at whatever part you want it to. I(Jonie) wanted mine to hit my natural waist(ish). You can skip a step and attach it while sewing on seeds beads, like so.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX-1WkFN_p75-eWY_OViGxkhgPCHk23maJhwYFGNF6pFNezpFZ3YSkcFF-qiJv-yyalW3Eqgbe4rQ6WTjhdvy-tUweSaiUIMOpvVAT87bT_rUpE2rTKtQmYgYK_8BP_XQURkfSbDHNNvA/s1600/IMG_0165.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX-1WkFN_p75-eWY_OViGxkhgPCHk23maJhwYFGNF6pFNezpFZ3YSkcFF-qiJv-yyalW3Eqgbe4rQ6WTjhdvy-tUweSaiUIMOpvVAT87bT_rUpE2rTKtQmYgYK_8BP_XQURkfSbDHNNvA/s400/IMG_0165.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

Need a fix but have no time to craft or shop? Fear not,we've got you covered!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">1.Thought cuffing pants was just for jeans? Not anymore! Fold up your dress pants ala J. Crew for a fresh take on the classics.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

2.Wish that scarf was an infinity scarf? Use safety pins to pin the edges together! Loop it over as a circle scarf,just make sure the pins are closed keep the ends in the ends in the back. Voila!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</tbody></table> 3.The tried-but-true ponytail-to-bun always jazzes up your 'do. Need to know how? Put your hair in a ponytail,pull through the elastic as usual. On the last loop,don't pull your hair all the way through. Instant fancy!<br />
(No photo 'cause photographing the back of yo head is somewhat challenging.) </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">4.Dresses can be shirts. Mind boggling, we know, but it's quite true. Use a dress that isn't super bulky and tuck it into your jeans-you can either do so tightly or leave it hanging over loosely, but that depends on the dress. (Tucking is acceptable <i>sometimes.</i>)We tucked in a simple gingham dress. So pretty much, you get a new shirt without spending any money. YAY!!! You can also simply layer a dress over jeans for layering funsies<br />

The light and silky square scarves of our mother's generation is a great way to reuse items. Why? We personally don't know. They may be old school, but they're so awesome, who cares?</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">So why use a hanky, you ask? We've got many good reasons.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">1. They're covered in flowers.</div><div style="text-align: left;">2. They dry your tears.</div><div style="text-align: left;">3. If a guy offers you his and lets you keep it, you can creepily harbor it next to your pillow for the rest of your life. Of course, if we ever meet a guy who actually owns a hanky, we will consider eloping.</div><div style="text-align: left;">4. They dry your tears. And snot.</div><div style="text-align: left;">5. They can clean your face and be fancy at the same time, and are much more portable than towels. Don't lie, you wash your face in public bathrooms sometimes, too.</div><div style="text-align: left;">6. They can double as a napkin, in case of emergency.</div><div style="text-align: left;">7. They can carry your snacks!!! Jonie finds this vital.</div><div style="text-align: left;">8. Most importantly, they bring a touch of fancy to every day life. And we're all over that.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhG9EYGwgeZqnsfcYACLHDCEzyI9PLtymdt6atvAvmMghCKmyxlLlDwFqTk-dDuAgOAYjfi8qeZAryc718zDPF1XCSfsHU__aK03pYcionKIW0Aems7ttjpk_DXhf43-ZlKdLoR_iHmkqQ/s1600/IMG_0123.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhG9EYGwgeZqnsfcYACLHDCEzyI9PLtymdt6atvAvmMghCKmyxlLlDwFqTk-dDuAgOAYjfi8qeZAryc718zDPF1XCSfsHU__aK03pYcionKIW0Aems7ttjpk_DXhf43-ZlKdLoR_iHmkqQ/s400/IMG_0123.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">So bust out your mom's or grandma's old hankies that have old-school charm, and use them for new things!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

<br />
Now we realize this is an odd topic to pick, what with half the craft world being the most skilled thrifters we have ever seen, BUT we've seen a few posts as of late by people who are wary of thrifting.</div><div style="text-align: center;">To them,we say this: Thrifting. Is. MAGICAL.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Why,ask you?<br />
<br />
Here are a few legit reasons:<br />
<br />
1.It's a fantastic,practical way to re-use sometime! Why should that skirt you hate go to waste when we may very well be in love with it?<br />
2. Financially great! While you can get things at big box store on clearance for about as cheap these days, it leads us to...<br />
3. Ethically fair. We don't deny shopping at big box stores, but we all know the labor conditions of which those things are made is unspeakable. This is a practical way to stick it to the man.<br />
4. Uniqueness! The ability to find a sweet vintage item is way,way higher. Additionally, EVERY STYLE COMES BACK,for better or for worse. Someone may well have gotten rid of the style sweater that was popular in 2000, but odds are it's back again before you know it.<br />
5. The Hunt, or "thrifting roulette." Yes, we did just compare it to roulette,because you never know what you're gonna get! Somedays you'll fail,but other days you'll come home with armfuls! That alone makes it fun.<br />
Here our a few of our recent finds... <br />

<li>Felt. Yes,it can be the cheap kind, it's just for gluing to the bottom of your flower. We used "eco-felt"(Ooooooooh,snobby!) 'cause we had it on hand.</li>
<li><strike>The best crafting item EVER</strike> Hot glue gun and work surface sufficient for it's use.</li>

Sorry we're a day behind(awful,we know) but due to a few independent factors we just never touched base with each other yesterday. But fear not, that just means DOUBLE THE POSTS TODAY.(Hollaaaaaaaa!) So,without further adieu, here are your posties.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipu0JjeXCw4lRCrPgQsR7juyv-g2Ivlyt-VCxLSklwOXvydTMSrM2IUtpDMr1pPm9-mC0pVY5qEfAPcJmLSfLecTHFalswMUEEn7t0X9s7_mwoqrj5x286p9bSbU4WjQiDL4EJR_q7yV0/s1600/AAAAAAAA.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="276" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipu0JjeXCw4lRCrPgQsR7juyv-g2Ivlyt-VCxLSklwOXvydTMSrM2IUtpDMr1pPm9-mC0pVY5qEfAPcJmLSfLecTHFalswMUEEn7t0X9s7_mwoqrj5x286p9bSbU4WjQiDL4EJR_q7yV0/s400/AAAAAAAA.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Do you need some new tunes for spring? While you're refreshing everything else,why not,right? A new list to run to,to clean to, to study to,to craft to,whatever! Music is such an easy,relatively inexpensive thing to mix up! And plus,it was a chance for Betsy to make a playlist. As a side note,we opted to merely link to the amazon mp3 sample from the song title instead of bogging down the blog with 10 different videos.You're welcome :) We fully enourage you to look up the full versions,however.<br />
Here's a few good picks for this spring...</div><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">As far as what you put in it, you've got a few options. You could</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div>a.) make tea (herbal or floral)<br />
b.) boil skin-healthy herbs (lavender or rosemary, for example)<br />
c.) use distilled water and add a couple of drops of skin-healthy essential oil (like rose or lavender)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2XrPQfrTi2IUhrf90UJU2KiRo9qFOiwupB2iQSHtEzQaQJyJw-bEskjzT_8d73K6QCk7xgkGX75wFgjHWAA_TqPo54Wx97M2l1AKspAgSoC5zcFN8AoCT7iHx0OtlnSZOMc0pq8pEsh0/s1600/IMG_0126.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2XrPQfrTi2IUhrf90UJU2KiRo9qFOiwupB2iQSHtEzQaQJyJw-bEskjzT_8d73K6QCk7xgkGX75wFgjHWAA_TqPo54Wx97M2l1AKspAgSoC5zcFN8AoCT7iHx0OtlnSZOMc0pq8pEsh0/s400/IMG_0126.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">You can be done here, or you can keep going and add a couple drops of Vitamin E oil, or if you don't have that on hand, use some olive oil. Of course, these will probably settle on top, so you'll have to shake up your bottle when you use it.</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgh8JW04ujHCnC6ATyYS5dLjQ7i50v3WDZCKnqCUQZTM3BAJ2-uL5g56PGOxCZpwaiyAVwuPQus0Lbjpz6MHqhvFFy6_AVgQCG-NvedlT6dyT310nLm6q3vrxxFxRUf-JERg8llMsd5Jqg/s1600/IMG_0127.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgh8JW04ujHCnC6ATyYS5dLjQ7i50v3WDZCKnqCUQZTM3BAJ2-uL5g56PGOxCZpwaiyAVwuPQus0Lbjpz6MHqhvFFy6_AVgQCG-NvedlT6dyT310nLm6q3vrxxFxRUf-JERg8llMsd5Jqg/s400/IMG_0127.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Depending on the ingredients, the facial spray may have a short shelf life of 1 week, but it may last much longer. Check every day to see if any little floaties have developed, and if they have, it's time to make a new batch!</div><br />

Have you too,noticed all the sweet chain earrings everywhere?</div><div style="text-align: center;">Are you to, too cheap to pay $12 or more for said earrings?</div><div style="text-align: center;">We made a quick pair (seriously,QUICK. This whole project takes about 10 minutes,tops.) with supplies we had on hand.</div><div style="text-align: center;">Free beats $12,in out opinion.</div><div style="text-align: center;">Unless you want to give us $12.</div><div style="text-align: center;">(In which case that's different...)</div><div style="text-align: center;">Anyways, wanna find out how?</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Here's the skinny on your new pair 'o sassy earrings...</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Step 1. Gather your supplies. You will need...</div><ul><li>Earring hooks. We had some in our stash, but Micheals normally has them for about $3 for a small infinity of them(rough guesstimations of both numbers.) </li>
<li>Jewelry Pliers, but if you wanna use real pliers, we won't tell.</li>
<li>Scissors. The project is hinged on it! Use a strong pair,but bear in mind it will be cutting chain. We used out second-from-best. Yes,we rate our scissors.</li>
<li>Annnnnnnd chain. In this project, the thinner, the better. Just big enough loops to string it on the earring hook. JUST big enough. Not big enough to individually pry the links;however.</li>
</ul><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZBkd6JJstYad1lwx-xCAMz9i1UUHa2pS06OlHcimMyTM7Cu87i_GsLnMb_nKL3OEhpOyOI6b5TBJylB4FD1Y0l4n__fifC0cXMLa8KmU5xVhBbz62snrql0O9smGEN9CMbZWrlhyeEt0/s1600/tut%252Bcrap+402.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZBkd6JJstYad1lwx-xCAMz9i1UUHa2pS06OlHcimMyTM7Cu87i_GsLnMb_nKL3OEhpOyOI6b5TBJylB4FD1Y0l4n__fifC0cXMLa8KmU5xVhBbz62snrql0O9smGEN9CMbZWrlhyeEt0/s400/tut%252Bcrap+402.JPG" width="300" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div>Step 2. This will feel absolutely ridiculous, but hold the chain up by your ear whilst looking in a mirror. Why? You need to figure out how long you want them to be. Everyone has different opinions on how long earrings should be, and it also greatly depends on your face type. But we digress. Find a length you are comfortable with and mark the spot with your finger. We went for about 2', but you may feel differently. <br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">(no picture 'cause we have too much self respect to post it,ha.)</div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Step 3. Taking care NOT to cut your finger, cut the chain where you marked it.</div><ul></ul><div style="text-align: center;"><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Be prepared for the link you severed to potentially go flying.</td></tr>
</tbody></table> Step 4. Using your pliers, open the loop of your earring hook. This is very elementary and we doubt we should have to walk you through it.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6Tme0rw1O5nbYUEnvig-LHEG9bcGRDOY3aQ8dMTfctr-h7NRP-jE_L_vjzC7LiREEYGKwCJYnWpIpKgmxXN06wD-f1ERqsjq7SEV1hQd7XYwngI8GG8zqqEn1cLwIPZcjlJDh6Fo_5Rc/s1600/bloggyblogblog+082.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6Tme0rw1O5nbYUEnvig-LHEG9bcGRDOY3aQ8dMTfctr-h7NRP-jE_L_vjzC7LiREEYGKwCJYnWpIpKgmxXN06wD-f1ERqsjq7SEV1hQd7XYwngI8GG8zqqEn1cLwIPZcjlJDh6Fo_5Rc/s400/bloggyblogblog+082.JPG" width="400" /></a></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Step 5. Loop the bit of chain you cut off onto the open loop. Try it on(carefully) to make sure you like the length!<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsnj2S4GpIE4POPH6C2FZXuX1qOIj6B46Pg0M_bITJwb06cqzA4Uh2Spzg_4InDZXmyJ6MMGaPx4yZJjeF8F4DuaE7yuVkGPfM8IR-m8gQ_33nfItG31EiRVewDA9wb7zy4cfjmdWGcJc/s1600/bloggyblogblog+107.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsnj2S4GpIE4POPH6C2FZXuX1qOIj6B46Pg0M_bITJwb06cqzA4Uh2Spzg_4InDZXmyJ6MMGaPx4yZJjeF8F4DuaE7yuVkGPfM8IR-m8gQ_33nfItG31EiRVewDA9wb7zy4cfjmdWGcJc/s400/bloggyblogblog+107.JPG" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Thar she be.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>Step 6. Once comfortable with the length, take your bit 'o chain off the earring hook. Vaguely line it up against the "big" chain, and cut multiplies. We liked the simple look for 3 chains per earring, but hey, maybe you like things more dramatic. No need to be a perfectionist about the chains lengths,it'd look weird if they were all the same length. You just want the separate earrings to look semi-uniform, that is all.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtw5AkUgg0Hte_wJ-N8h3kBINR40SSJ9Ki71FTR6Zjo1rZpnPGG_irdcLqBKTY_vXFSlhzA_3hJlvi-rVSutfTGYKsWbgXrHzEUg5z9Rk7BHkmXTxnecTrPr4MPateojjMqcuR6gpBLHk/s1600/bloggyblogblog+119.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtw5AkUgg0Hte_wJ-N8h3kBINR40SSJ9Ki71FTR6Zjo1rZpnPGG_irdcLqBKTY_vXFSlhzA_3hJlvi-rVSutfTGYKsWbgXrHzEUg5z9Rk7BHkmXTxnecTrPr4MPateojjMqcuR6gpBLHk/s400/bloggyblogblog+119.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><br />
Step 7. Loop the chains onto the earring hook and CLOSE TIGHTLY. Other wise they will fall off and that would just be embarrassing/ infuriating and you'll run late getting ready because you had to string them back on. Not that we'd know or anything.<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">...and close it! Like the awkward pose for the pliers? Us too!</td></tr>
</tbody></table> Step 8. Wear,rock,and enjoy. Beats $12? Yes. Yes it does. And it's so inexpensive a project you can easily get more earrings out of your supplies,which means hey! Good presents, are we right? Yes. Why yes,we believe we are.<br />

How you have plagued us all.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">But it doesn't have to. It occurred to us that we didn't need to spend boatloads of money on Prom. So we didn't. So if you're stressed out about finding a Prom or Formal dress because they're freaking expensive, hit up a thrift store and be creative!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">How did we do this?</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">1. Tuck one end of the wrap under your left pit.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">2. Pass the wrap over the right half of your chest and around the back.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">3. From the back, pass it over it's origin (left pit), make sure the left half of your chest is covered, and pass it over your shoulder. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">4. Tuck it into the back.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">5. Make sure all of the folds in the material are flattering. This may take a couple of tries in order for it to look good. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Sadly, this dress kind of fell to the bottom of Jonie's closet, hence the wrinkles...but don't be lazy like her!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9sh5i9oVSU5vChuJbMZ7lE4Kn4DP_piAGZxa9PXmVY33ORk36QdQrrF4a5mYwRYidv45vjZxwLpj_2ZLPU1u7vQkLGIMFBhg4tdqIu68x9LBLySqtYL1-T_OZ56skQT2vVNwbuQUWV9o/s1600/sigline.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="108" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9sh5i9oVSU5vChuJbMZ7lE4Kn4DP_piAGZxa9PXmVY33ORk36QdQrrF4a5mYwRYidv45vjZxwLpj_2ZLPU1u7vQkLGIMFBhg4tdqIu68x9LBLySqtYL1-T_OZ56skQT2vVNwbuQUWV9o/s400/sigline.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

The worker-elves are a busy gettin' (re)fresh ready for you next week and are therefore a little forgetful about keeping up the blog right now. Those lazy elves....</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">What is this (re)fresh,you ask?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipu0JjeXCw4lRCrPgQsR7juyv-g2Ivlyt-VCxLSklwOXvydTMSrM2IUtpDMr1pPm9-mC0pVY5qEfAPcJmLSfLecTHFalswMUEEn7t0X9s7_mwoqrj5x286p9bSbU4WjQiDL4EJR_q7yV0/s1600/AAAAAAAA.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="276" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipu0JjeXCw4lRCrPgQsR7juyv-g2Ivlyt-VCxLSklwOXvydTMSrM2IUtpDMr1pPm9-mC0pVY5qEfAPcJmLSfLecTHFalswMUEEn7t0X9s7_mwoqrj5x286p9bSbU4WjQiDL4EJR_q7yV0/s400/AAAAAAAA.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">(re)fresh is a practical, economical approach to updating your life for spring. Everyone likes new and pretty things, but not everyone can spend buttloads of money on pretty things.<br />
(re)fresh will highlight and produce projects that will help you use what you have, the easy-to-obtain and the inexpensive.<br />
Our goal is that no single project in (re)fresh should cost you more then $10.<br />
Our goal is to highlight projects that upcycle without being exclusive to such projects.<br />
Our goal is that every project we share will be simple,easy,and pretty.<br />
Over the next 2 weeks, we'll have a lot of great content for you,such as...<br />
<ul><li>A giveaway to celebrate the launching of our shop!</li>
<li>Original tutorials and ideas</li>
<li>Our "personal" projects</li>
<li>Many tutorial roundups including beauty,jewelry,clothing and more.</li>
<li>A linky party so you can share your projects and pretties! </li>
</ul>We'll basically be hyper-blogging(for us.) Not only will there be a post everyday(gasp) but there will normally be at least 2! So stay tuned,because we've got a lot of exciting things headed your way!<br />
